Durward Sobek, Montana State University - open seminar

Välkommen till en föreläsning (på engelska) med Durward Sobek.​
Sobek har i sin forskning fokuserat på att hitta en bra och användbar metodik för att ta fram ”trade off”-kurvor, dvs en graf där två prestandakrav balanseras mot varandra för att försöka hitta ett optimum. Är du intresserad av att veta mer om trade-off kurvor och hur man kan balansera krav i konflikt med ett Lean-angreppsätt är du välkommen till detta seminarium.​

Durward Sobek II, PhD, is a professor and program coordinator of industrial engineering at Montana State University and co-founder of the nonprofit Lean Product and Process Development Exchange, Inc. 

He is lead editor of Lean Product and Process Development, 2nd edition, by Allen Ward and co-author of the Shingo Research Prize-winning book Understanding A3 Thinking: A Critical Component of Toyota's PDCA Management System.  

For over a decade, Sobek has researched lean product development and lean principles, focusing on how organizations can use them to increase performance capacity.  

A frequent conference presenter, he also has published numerous articles in publications such as Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.  


Sobek holds doctor's and master's degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College.
