Reliability theory provides a way to examine a multiple component system calculating its overall reliability, the probability that the system will work. This course gives fundamental concepts and basic methods for analysing reliability of components and systems of components. It addresses the following key issues:
- hazard functions,
- coherent systems,
- reparable systems,
- Markov models,
- TTT-transformers.
This course is
- given every second year
- in the first half of autumn
