Working in natural sciences often means studying data with certain degree of uncertainty. At the end of the course, the student will be able to - fully appreciate that data sampling experiments have to fulfill certain assumptions, needed in order to make meaningful the use of statistical methods, - plan experiments and analyse the data in some typical situations.
The course is given two times each year
- in the first half of autumn
- in the first half of spring
The course will be given in its current form the last time autumn 2012. It will be possible to take the course also spring 2013, but then it will be taught jointly with a new course MSG830.
