Do you want to learn more about intellectual property rights, particularly with regard to patent protection and the commercialisation of inventions?
The European Patent office offers all master’s students at Chalmers free, modular and largely self-paced courses in Intellectual Property rights and patents.
The courses are available in two versions – a foundation course and an advanced course – and are aimed at Master’s students studying in fields such as engineering, where knowledge of IP is an important value add in many careers.
The courses consists of a carefully selected set of case studies, live sessions, self-paced modules and quizzes, a tutored forum and a final assignment marked by IP experts.
The courses do not award credits, but successfully finishing the courses yields a certificate from the European Patent O5ice.
To be eligible for the advanced course, you must first have completed the foundation course. Read more about the courses and their content via the links below.
