Open Science is revolutionizing research and technology, opening up new opportunities for innovation and global collaboration. In this course, you will learn to navigate the fast-evolving Open Science landscape and take away the best practices to share your work with the world. The course also provides you an opportunity to broaden your horizon at Chalmers through interactions with teachers and students across many disciplines.

General information

This project-based course will introduce you to the different facets of Open Science: Open Data, Open Access, Open Source, Open Workflows, Licenses and Copyrights. You will learn about the relevant tools and best practices that can be used your thesis and future work. Through the course projects, you will have an opportunity to dive deeper into topics of your choice.

Prerequisites

The course is open to all students and alumni. This is an interdisciplinary elective course, relevant to all educational programmes at Chalmers.
