At Chalmers, you should feel safe, welcome, and respected. Together, we create the study environment at Chalmers—that is why we all need to contribute to an environment where everyone can thrive and develop. This means that our campuses should be free from discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and abusive treatment. Such behavior is never okay – whether in the classroom, online, in a lab, at a party, or in other parts of the study environment and student life.
Safe at Chalmers is your student resource for increasing knowledge of key areas such as discrimination, victimization, harassment, and sexual harassment. You can also receive support and advice on how to act or report a situation if something doesn't feel right.
You can find information from the student union here: Safe on campus - Chalmers Studentkår

Learn more about harassment and discrimination
Understanding what harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, and victimization means is an important step in being able to speak up and create a safe study environment. At Chalmers, we have zero tolerance for any of these behaviors – if they occur, we take action against them.

Take action for a safe environment
Everyone at Chalmers has a responsibility to contribute to a safe and respectful study environment. As a student, you also have a responsibility. Small everyday actions make a difference – everything from saying hello, including others in group work, being mindful of your language, to speaking up when something doesn't feel right.

Report and get support
If you have experienced something that created an environment that is intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive on our Campus, please speak out and tell us about it.
