CVA research seminarium

CVA invites to a research seminar with primarily a methods focus. Starting point is the healthcare environment and how it can be evaluated, measured and described. It is an open seminar that will primarily focus on instruments, models and evaluation techniques. A question is what data can be gathered and how it can be structured. In other research areas than architecture the use of so called instruments is a way of structuring data and systemizing analyzes. A question that will be discussed is how that works with analysis of the built design/environment.
The seminar will include a short introductory presentation by Laura Cambra Rufino who is a guest researcher at CVA during spring 2018. It will be followed by a short introduction to instruments used in the caring sciences by Marie Elf. Then we open up for a discussion that aims at focusing methodology and validity and relevance related to instruments, models and evaluations systems.
