Critical evaluation of research articles from microwave engineering to terahertz science I

Om kursen

The course is based on active participation in dialogue seminars, where experience and tacit knowledge are shared among the participants.
By reflecting on others research, the purpose is to become aware of high-quality research and be better equipped to apply sound research practices. The participants will analyse an article concerning novelty, context, impact, claims support, reproducibility, clarity, structure and language style. The topics can vary from basic science to applied technology, preferably related to applications in the microwave, millimeter wave and terahertz parts of the electromagnetic spectrum.
In summary, each participant will gain experience in scholarly peer review and have the opportunity to learn about the current research frontier outside their scientific topic.
