Note that this course requires that the PhD and supervisor collaborate on a real review and so requires engagement (time) from both the PhD student and their supervisor.

Effective researchers contribute to the research community in a specific research field. One important way to contribute is by performing peer reviews for journal editorial boards. Peer reviewers assess the validity, quality and originality of articles submitted for publication and offer constructive advice to the authors, which helps to maintain the integrity of science by ensuring the high quality of published research.
