The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CSE, is a joint department between Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg. With the support of both universities the Department has launched initiatives for young girls to increase their knowledge of and interest in information technology. During workshops and bootcamps, the girls get to develop their technical creativity, they learn to create features by using code, and gain insight into how fun programming can be.
Girls Code Club
Welcomes girls who study at the gymnasium to participate in a coding boot camp during three summer weeks.
Creative Coding
A 10-week series of workshops for younger girls to have fun and experiment with code and music.
