Tool for socio-economic analyses of measures to tackle inflow
Supplementary water accounts for a significant proportion of the water transported and treated in Swedish sewerage systems and can lead to increased costs, overflows and basement flooding. As part of the SVU project ‘Quantifying the socio-economic consequences of inflow’, the Excel-based tool TSV-KNA has been developed to enable simplified socio-economic analyses of measures to tackle inflow. The tool is based on cost-benefit analysis and incorporates uncertainties in the input data, as well as example values and key indicators to assist the user.
