Architectural Theory and Methods

The division of Architectural Theory and Method conducts research and education within the fields of theory, history and methods for architecture and planning.

Four perspectives characterise the department:

Work in the department includes both practical and theoretical skills. The department focuses on different aspects of architectural design of the built environment, such as materials and technology, visualisation and modelling, theory and history, and dialogue, democracy and change processes.
