To develop Nano Area of Advance, we have allocated funding to a number of activities. Our goal is to bring together strong research activities in nanoscience and nanotechnology in the different departments at Chalmers, and build a stronger community. Community Building Activity 2024
The Community Building activity includes a broad scientific program with lectures from both invited and internal speakers, in combination with discussions, team building and networking. You will also be able to join guided tour of the impressive Carlsten Castle and a hike around the beautiful island of Marstrand or take the time to enjoy the spa.
The programme contains the following:
• Invited talk by Professor Heike Riel, member of the AoA Nano Advisory Board and Head of Science & Technology and Lead of IBM Research Quantum Europe at IBM Research Zürich.
• Scientific talks from the Chalmers Nano Community
• Poster session and the chance to win a poster prize
• The stories of Chalmers Nano Startups
• Center talks with FoRmulaEx in the spotlight and an introduction to the new VR Centre Meta Pix
• Talk by Arne Sjögren Prize Winner Adriana Canales Ramos
• Workshop for all Nano PIs, staff, PhD students and Postdocs
• The event is open to Chalmers employees and invited guests. It is free of charge, but all participants need to register.
