Materials for Tomorrow is an annual conference, covering research, education and innovation in materials science, and serves as a meeting place for academia, industry and society, and to highlight how materials science can contribute to solve global challenges. The 2016 conference was co-organized by Chalmers University of Technology and the Swedish Chemical Society, and covered a range of topics in materials science: 3D Printing, Graphene, Wood nanotechnology, Cutting edge materials analysis, Rising stars in materials industry and Materials in arts and architecture.

was displayed in conjunction with the conference, and attracted about 900 school students.
