Ten years of Sports & Technology

Sports & Technology at Chalmers is celebrating its 10-year anniversary on September 6-7.
Materials, Digitalization, Biomechanics and Fluid Dynamics - and applied to sports such as cycling, equestrian sports, floorball, sailing, skiing and swimming. Read more and register to the conference.

Sport TechnologyChalmers Sports & Technology was initiated in 2012 as a response to the identified need for more in-depth engineering research applied in sports. Since then, we have conducted sports-related education, research and innovation together with more than 150 external stakeholders, including many companies, sports associations and clubs, and other public organizations.

jumpingSeveral projects combining cutting edge research with challenges presented by the sport sector (athletes, coaches, sports associations and companies) have resulted in internationally recognized innovations.
Today Chalmers is also one of the National Sports Universities in Sweden where elite athletes can combine their sports with studies. 

Sport TechnologyDuring the 10-year anniversary symposium you will have the opportunity to take part of inspiring seminars and workshops on ”Sports and Sustainability, Data driven sports research, Innovation in sports and Education in sports & technology”. 
Together with invited international speakers we will look into what can we learn from the past to create the future of Sports & Technology at Chalmers.
