Master thesis project fair

Health Engineering Area of Advance, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg are arranging a joint Master thesis project fair online.
On October 7, the third joint thesis project fair in the area of health is held online. Chalmers Health Engineering Area of Advance, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg – Sahlgrenska Academy, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Education – will together host the fair that aims to reoccur biannually. The fair is mainly targeted at master’s students, but students at both bachelor and master level at Sahlgrenska Academy are welcome to participate.

The aim of the fair is to give students at Chalmers and the above mentioned parts of GU an opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary projects while writing their final thesis in the area of health and healthcare. For researchers, this is an opportunity to reach a wider audience of students when advertising project ideas. For students, the fair also offers a unique possibility to work side-by-side together with students that have different competences, in projects that will be co-supervised by PI:s with both clinical and engineering background.

  • In webinar: Joint introduction
  • In webinar: Marathon of master project presentations
  • In separate online meetings: Discussions with researchers and students
Researchers register here. Last day to register as a researcher is September 30.

Students register here. Students may register up to October 6.

Please observe you need to use the right link above to receive the information you need. For students, a link to the online fair will be sent out before noon on October 7.

Also see the news page about the event.

We would like you to prepare maximum two slides about your research and the proposed thesis project, and present this in 2-3 minutes. The slides should be in the 16:9 format, saved as pdf, and contain:
  • Number of students suitable for the maser thesis project
  • Prior knowledge needed for the students to be eligable
  • Contact information (on last slide) containing name of contact person, department and division of contact person, email address, home page for more information (if available)
The slides need to be submitted to us one week prior to the fair, on October 1, in order for us to arrange the event. Please send your slides to The slides will be sent to the students after the fair. As an option, you can also send an additional onepager pdf about the project, which will then be sent to the students instead of the slides.

Please note that at Chalmers only final thesis projects (examensarbeten) are considered.
If you have questions regarding the event, please send an email to Ann-Sofie Cans.
