Can wind energy meet the industry's demand for electricity?

​NOTE! Due to the pandemic, the seminar will be a webinar and broadcast via zoom.​ Invitation: Tuesday, January 25, 2022, 12.00-13.30, Chalmers Energy Area of Advance welcomes you to a lunch seminar.
Wind power can be built quickly and needs no subsidies. But can wind power meet industry´s demand for fossil fuels? Is there a sufficiently large economic potential? Can it fit into the electrical grid?

The seminar is open to everyone and free of charge. Language Swedish.

  • Välkomna, moderator Tomas Kåberger, Chalmers styrkeområde Energi. 
  • Teknisk utveckling som sänker kostnader. Sara Fogelström, föreståndare för Svenskt Vindkraftstekniskt centrum.
  • Potential och investeringsvilja längs våra kuster. Charlotte Bergqvist VD i Cloudberry Offshore Wind AB med uppdrag att utveckla havsbaserad vindkraft i Norden.
  • Kan variabel vindkraft möta industrins elbehov? Lisa Göransson, Forskarassistent, Rymd-, geo- och miljövetenskap, energiteknik, Chalmers.
  • Fossilfri el och vätgas – grunden för nästa industriella revolution. Mikael Nordlander utvecklingschef för Vattenfalls industrisamarbeten.
