Abstrakt finns enbart på engelska: One of the main applications of mathematics in the real world is cryptology. I will discuss in broad terms how the use of cryptology will change in Sweden during the next decade and how mathematicians can contribute to it in a substantial way. The two main themes are Post-Quantum Cryptology (PQC) and the advanced cryptology employed in Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PET).
