Abstrakt finns enbart på engelska: We discuss the magnetic Schrödinger operator in the disk. Its spectrum has several interesting properties and applications. The symmetry of the disk enables a rather detailed study, not possible for generic domains, but it also introduces difficulties not present for the generic domains. Several spectral questions remain to be answered. Some properties are clearly suggested by numerical calculations. We discuss a bit what is known and what we would like to know.
