Biomathematics

The research group in biomathematics arranges a bi-weekly seminar held Tuesdays (even week numbers) at 13:15. The seminar is held at the Mathematical Sciences in room MVL:15.

The seminar is aimed at mathematicians with an interest in biology, and biologists, ecologist and systembiologists who are interested in mathematical theory.

Schedule autumn 2015:

  • 15 sep - Ivan Mijakovic, Systems biology, Chalmers. Title: Bacillus subtilis: from signaling and regulation to metabolic engineering
  • 29 sep - cancelled
  • 13 oct - Julie Rowlett, Matematiska vetenskaper, Chalmers. Title: Mathematical models for plankton
  • 27 oct at 10:00 - Kit Yates, Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Bath. Title: Developing PEE-compartment hybrid frameworks for modeling cell migration
