The Initiative Seminar is a follow-up of last year's event, this time with a more in-depth programme. The first half day is devoted to security and privacy issues. The program includes speakers from both Chalmers and other universities, and presentations include the challenge of being anonymous on the Internet, securing the web of things, and the questions of trust in cloud services. The half-day ends with a panel discussion about AI and its risks.
After lunch, an equally extensive program of machine intelligence starts, bringing together experts in various disciplines, as well as industry – Ericsson and Google Deepmind. The speakers present research findings in areas such as urban structure, telecom, computer vision and language. Devdatt Dubhashi from Chalmers rounds off the program with a presentation about AI and future. The program is available here>
