Seminarium i Talteori och Algebraisk Geometri

Abstrakt finns enbart på engelska: In the pre seminar I will explain Duke’s theorem for closed geodesics and what is a thin subgroup. In the second part I will explain how to associate partial coverings and thin subgroups to closed geodesics on the modular surface, following Duke-Imamoglu-Toth, and how to extend their results and constructions using geometric ideas.
