Abstrakt finns enbart på engelska: That statistics, (and mathematics), is perceived as difficult for "non-mathematicians" is well known. However, understanding exactly what the difficulties are and how the teacher can facilitate the learning, remains a challenge. With this in mind I initiated an informal collaboration with Jonas Linderoth, a professor in pedagogy at GU, in the fall of 2023. The informal premise of the project was that I would teach him statistics, and he would provide feedback on what "works" in the teaching. Through this collaboration, I gained several valuable insights, some of which caused me to implement several changes in my teaching during the fall of 2024. In this talk, I would like to share my experiences from this and, with the audience's input, perhaps gain additional ideas and insights.
