Abstrakt finns enbart på engelska: A separable quantum state shared between parties A and B can be symmetrically extended to a quantum state shared between party A and parties B1,..., Bk for every k. Quantum states that are not separable, i.e., entangled, do not have this property. In my talk, I will give a brief introduction to this phenomenon, which is known as “monogamy of entanglement” in quantum theory, and explain how it can be generalized to characterize the minimal tensor product of any pair of convex cones. Finally, I will discuss the question of when the minimal tensor product of a pair of cones coincides with the set of k-extendible tensors for a finite k. This will lead to a nice connection between entanglement and convex geometry.
