Om föreläsningen

This lecture presents a new scenario for climate action before 2050 in which net-zero GHG emissions should be global targets. Despite the urgency to reduce GHG emissions, and increase offsetting through various mitigation initiatives, state actors have been politically divided in commitment of its implementation. Therefore focus should also be on the roles and potentials of “non-state actors”, including academia, trade chambers, professional bodies, non-governmental organisations, influential figures, student activists and responsible individuals. They can be prime movers in many ways with various innovations in many areas, including water sector.
