Ai-Linh Nguyen, Financial Officer at Mathematical Sciences
Start date: June 1, 2021
Ai-Linh will work as a financial officer with responsibility for accounting, budget, financial follow-ups, projections and financial statements for the Division of Applied Mathematics and Statistics.
Ai-Linh has most recently worked at Core Facilities at the Sahlgrenska Academy.
Anneli Andersson, Communications Partner at Mathematical Sciences
Start date: March 1, 2021
I am the communications partner for the department in the new central communications division. I will work with planning and implementation of both internal and external communications initiatives, and share the responsibility for the department’s web pages with Setta Aspström.
Guillaume Bellier, PhD student at the Division of Analysis and Probability
Start date: February 1, 2021
I am a PhD student working on Operator Algebras theory with some interactions with Group theory. I study the stability of groups and C* algebras and I will especially focus on the ‘’soft’’ deformation of already known C* algebras.
I have a master’s degree in mathematics of the Metz university in France that I received in 2020 and an applied mathematics Engineer master degree of ENSIMAG school in France that I received in 2014.
Johan Ulander, PhD student at the Division of Applied Mathematics and Statistics
Start date: January 11, 2021
My PhD project will be in the field of computational mathematics for stochastic partial differential equations.
I have a MSc degree in mathematics from ETH in Zurich and I am expecting to receive a MSc degree in engineering mathematics and computational science from Chalmers in December 2020.
Tatiana Shulman, Senior Lecturer at the Division of Analysis and Probability
Start date: January 1, 2021
My research interests are in Functional Analysis, more specifically in Operator Algebras, and also their connection with Quantum Information Theory. In particular, in Operator Algebras I am interested in the structure theory of C*-algebras, various aspects of noncommutative topology and in the interplay between Operator Algebras and Group Theory.
