Electromagnetics Laboratory

The Electromagnetics Laboratory (EM lab) is an assembly of senior researchers and teachers with activities in the scientific field of electromagnetics, which involves both theoretical and experimental work. Here, the term electromagnetics also includes closely related areas such as electrical circuits.

The EM lab is hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology.

Vision

World-leading research and education in the scientific field of electromagnetics for a sustainable future.

Mission

Strengthen the academic excellence in a collaborative environment for research and education in the scientific field of electromagnetics.

Activities

The EM lab organizes seminars and workshops on a regular basis throughout the academic year. These activities within the EM-lab can be sub-divided into the three main areas:

  • Research
  • Education
  • Collaboration
