Basic Science: Pushing the boundaries of knowledge
Basic Science at Chalmers addresses fundamental questions in mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry and the life sciences. Our research spans areas such as mathematical modelling, complex systems, quantum science, biomolecular systems and nanoscale phenomena. Driven by curiosity, we combine theoretical, experimental and computational approaches to advance fundamental understanding and explore new scientific frontiers. Chalmers offers a collaborative and international research environment with strong interdisciplinary connections.
The position as Assistant Professor comes with a five-year tenure track position with a generous start-up package, relocation support and mentoring, and leadership training to further your development as research leader and teacher.
