Advanced Research Support

Bi-yearly there is a call for applications for who will be eligible for this support. The support is similar to what has been provided by the Data Science Research Engineers who have since been included in Chalmers e-Commons Digital Research Engineers.

A typical example of how the support works is that a project is assigned one or two Digital Research Engineers to provide topical expertise. As such this expertise does not necessarily have to exist in the group beforehand, and will instead provide the research direction and expertise.

Support can be given within the areas of expertise that can be found at Chalmers e-Commons which include the four Areas of Interest:

  • AI and Machine Learning,
  • High Performance Computing,
  • Data Management,
  • Visualisation.

You are welcome to send an email to e-commons@chalmers.se if you have a problem that you would like to discuss over a coffee before deciding if you should apply or not.
