Chalmers' students can now share their degree through a code they retrieve from Ladok. With a code and personal identity number, employers or recruitment companies can verify and get information about a degree digitally.

Chalmers have now activated the Ladok function for students to retrieve a code to write in their CV. Together with the personal identity number it gives employers or recruitment companies the possibility to verify and access information about a degree digitally. Already, students can print transcript of records on their own with a validation code that can be verified by others, but now it is also possible to retrieve a code to share your degree.
This is a step in the right direction against a digitized world of education and a preparation for when Chalmers start issuing degree certificates digitally. Gradually as the service is noticed and starts to be used, it can hopefully facilitate the work of verifying education and degrees from Chalmers.

How does it work?

The student log in to Ladok for students/Degrees and certificates/Share certificate to retrieve a code. The digital verification is made through the page Verify degree information and gives access to information about the kind of degree, the issuing date and the date of completed studies. Courses included are only visible from degrees issued from Chalmers after May 2018.
