Nine researchers from Sweden and nine from South Korea will share a total of 60 million SEK for research collaboration of the highest international standards. The initiative is funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research in conjunction with the National Research Foundation of the Republic of Korea, NRF.
The money are to be used for seminars, conferences, workshops and other exchanges between the research groups. After a mid-term evaluation in three years, there is a chance to receive the same amount of money once more.
Among the Swedish researchers who received grants, two are from Chalmers: Marcus Wilhelmsson, physical chemistry, and Sergey Kubatkin, quantum device physics.
