Chalmers provides open online courses both on our own platform and on the international platform edX. The courses are free and open to anyone to attend but may have recommended prior knowledge. You will not receive higher education credits. The courses are given at different times and with different registration times, and the offer thus varies during the year. You register directly on the platforms. You can often register on a short notice.

Open short courses on Chalmers platform

Chalmers provides short online courses which usually have some recorded course materials and which may involve a larger proportion of self-study. Some of the courses have a limited number of participants.

MOOCs give the opportunity to learn for everybody with access to internet with a computer, tablet or smartphone. Leaners from all over the world can watch interesting video lectures, test their knowledge with quizzes and other assignments and engage in online discussions with other participants whenever and wherever they want.
