Here, all student reports from the course Marine Design Project are listed.
The course MMA151, Marine Design Project, is for the students in the second year of the master program in Mobility Engineering (MPMOB), specializing in marine technology. During the course, they make a conceptual design for a ship, based on requirements from a real customer in the industry.
The students work together in groups of 8-15 students, where they focus on various aspects of the design of the ship, e.g. hull shape, engine systems, structures, logistics, etc. An overview of outcome of the design projects carried out over the year is presented below, for more details, contact the examiner of the course.
