Chalmers has now established a new role, DEI Officer, to strengthen the work on diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI).
The role is held by Malin Albrektsson, who previously worked on equality issues in the city of Gothenburg. Her task is to coordinate and develop equality work across the entire university and ensure that the work becomes more systematic and consistent.
Malin Albrektsson will also establish a DEI Office, a digital forum that will serve as a hub for collaboration and support on DEI issues. With a focus on both legal requirements and Chalmers' goals, she will create conditions for the equality perspective to permeate the entire organisation and include more groups according to the Discrimination Act.
