Chalmers is seeking a new President and CEO who is highly motivated to drive and develop the university and to further support ongoing change processes and business development. The aim is to advance Chalmers' positions so that the university contributes even more to the transition required for globally sustainable change. Chalmers will provide education and research at the highest international level that also effectively benefits both people and the planet.
Important tasks for Chalmers' new President and CEO include developing operations in the direction of the newly established vision and working for increased gender equality and inclusion at all levels. Candidates should have professorial skills as well as international experience in the university sector and be committed to the University’s role in society.
The tenure of Stefan Bengtsson will end on 31 July 2024. He has chosen not to continue in his current role but is available to support Chalmers' development in other ways. When a successor is in place, Stefan Bengtsson will take over the assignment as Chair of the Board of Chalmers tekniska högskola AB from Torbjörn Holmström.
