Materials science at Chalmers combines fundamental research with applications that address major societal challenges. Our research spans the entire materials value chain, from theory and modelling to synthesis, characterisation and evaluation of material properties. We focus on materials for energy applications, materials for health applications, and materials for green transitions. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and strong links to industry, we develop advanced materials that enable sustainable technologies and future innovations.
The position is a five-year tenure-track appointment with a competitive start-up package including funding for personnel, equipment, and operational costs.You will also get relocation support, mentoring, and leadership training to support your development as an independent research leader and educator.
