Submit conference contribution

There are four formats for contributing to the conference; Presentation with an academic approach, work in progress, workshop and roundtable discussion. After the conference there will also be an opportunity to submit a more extensive contribution to the conference proceedings. Here, you will find information on the different contribution formats and the submission process.

Conference contribution formats

There are four formats for contributing to the conference:

  1. Presentation. A 15-20 minute oral presentation of a work with a more academic approach, followed by 10-15 minutes for questions and discussion.
  2. Work in progress. A 10-minute oral presentation to share experiences in the field. Time for questions and discussion with other contributions.
  3. Workshop. The participants must work actively together for 60 minutes with a concrete method or question.
  4. Roundtable discussion. Raise a topic for discussion, exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences with others (60 minutes, of which a maximum of 5 min introduction).

You can use the different contribution formats as support at different stages of your development work. For example, you can test an idea for the development of a course element in a round table discussion one year and return the next year with a workshop where you get collegial support, for example, student activities for a certain learning goal. Eventually, when you have implemented the change in your course and have seen the results of the change, you can come back and present the results of your change work.

Review of conference contributions

All contributions receive feedback after the first submission. At least two reviewers assess each contribution based on the criteria that exist for each contribution format. The feedback is given on two levels:

Accepted – No further submission is required. Revision based on reviewers' development tips is voluntary.

Revision – The criteria are not met. Revision and resubmission is required. You have the opportunity to get individual support from the reviewers, who support the processing of your contribution before resubmission of revised contributions.

Submit contribution to proceedings

You will have the opportunity to submit a longer text about your conference contribution to the conference proceedings. The deadline for submission is 5 May, approximately one month after the conference has taken place.
