In light of the conflict in the Middle East, Chalmers has investigated whether there are any students or employees in or near Iran. According to the review conducted, there are no Chalmers exchange students in the area. The review regarding employees on business travel is ongoing.
Students who need support due to the conflict can contact the Student Support Services.
Chalmers is following information and recommendations from the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (UD) and other authorities and remains in contact with networks within the higher education sector, as well as with the Chalmers Student Union.
At present, travel advisories are in effect for a large number of countries in the region.

The work related to the situation in Iran and the region as a whole is coordinated by Chalmers’ Security Office.
Chalmers recommends that all students and employees planning to travel abroad register with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ “Swedish List”.
