We are happy to announce that RWTH Aachen is offering its second ENHANCE Blended Intensive Programme on “Physics Informed Neural Networks Applications to Geotechnical Engineering”!
The course is organized by the Institute of Geomechanics and Underground Technology and is composed of an online and onsite part.
First, you will participate in an online introductory course from 22-26 July. During those days, the principles behind machine learning are discussed and you will learn about the tools they will work with, which is mainly Python code written in Jupyter Notebooks.
During the week on campus, from 29 July - 2 August, you will apply your newly acquired theoretical knowledge in a hackathon-style workshop. Besides the coursework, social events such as Pub Crawls and local city tours will be held.
Open to Master's students
The application is open to Master's students in engineering, geophysics, computer science, and applied mathematics. You can earn a total of 3 ECTS for the course and receive an Erasmus+ grant.
