We are pleased to announce ARCH26, the 7th International Conference on Architecture, Research, Care and Health. The conference will take place at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 15- 17 June, 2026.

New Doctoral Thesis Highlights the Importance of the Built Environment in Psychiatric Care
Anne Hagerup recently defended her doctoral thesis “Respite for the Troubled Mind: Supportive and Natural Spaces as a Therapeutic Tool”, which explores the role of the built environment in psychiatric care.

Hospital Areas
Climate threats, accessibility and security are subjects that are all important to hospital areas. Within CVA we are currently engaged in a project on Climate threats and hospital areas and one called Safe hospital entrance areas.
