Chalmers is an independent university of technology that conducts research and provides education based on agreements with the state. The activities are mainly carried out in the company Chalmers tekniska högskola AB which, in turn, is owned by the parent company of the Group, Chalmers University of Technology Foundation. This way of organising our activities determines how our annual reporting must be done. Each year we produce a consolidated print publication that includes our four main reports.

Annual review

Based on the agreements with the state, there are annual reporting requirements – the reporting is mainly in Chalmers’ Annual Review. This includes information on degrees, application rates, scientific publications, development and quality work.

Sustainability report

According to the Swedish Annual Accounts Act, Chalmers Tekniska Högskola AB must produce a sustainability report every year. This reports the organisation’s sustainability footprint. It includes information on items such as energy consumption and emissions from business travel, hazardous waste and health and safety.

Two annual reports

Chalmers tekniska högskola AB and the Chalmers University of Technology Foundation produce annual reports in accordance with the requirements for limited companies and foundations in the Annual Accounts Act. The Foundation is the parent company of the Group and its annual report also includes information from other companies in the Group.
