Four scholarships will be awarded in 2019 to citizens of the People's Republic of China and/or the Republic of India.
The selection is based on the applicants' relative academic excellence, which primarily includes weighted average grade but also home university's stature (including position on global ranking lists) and priority order of the application for Chalmers Master's programmes.

Applicants to the following Master's programmes are eligible to apply for the scholarship:
- 1st year Master's programme applicants to one or several of the above listed programmes
- Citizens of the People's Republic of China or the Republic of India who are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university studies
- Covers 100% of the tuition fees (4 semesters/2 year programme)
- In addition, the Volvo Group intends to have close contact with the students during the two years of study. Support offered could include summer internships, Master's thesis projects and mentorship.
