Production Systems Lab

Chalmers’ Production Systems Laboratory will be an arena for research about next generation of workplaces. The challenge is to create intelligent production systems that support the Swedish industry with flexible and competitive solutions.

The focus will be on:

  • highly automated production
  • semi automated production and human-robot collaboration, and
  • manual production and assembly

The laboratory will host several industrial robots, and advanced communication infrastructure for mobile operator support, and facilities for development of inclusive and ergonomic workplaces.

We welcome you to participate in our facility. Do you want a test site for your setup of manual versus automatic assembly? Please contact us for more information about the possibilites to participate in our laboratory environment.
