The Unit of Technical and Maritim Managment primarily focuses on education in maritime transport technology, marine engineering, logistics, management, law, economics, and operations and maintenance engineering.
Most of our courses focus on the maritime industry, but we also deliver courses to other subject areas, primarily within law. The unit also provides a wide range of continuing professional development courses for active seafarers.
Staff within the unit contribute their expertise to various types of projects, including research in traceability, informatics, and logistics, as well as serving as a consultative body in regulatory development and participating in international collaborative projects for maritime education.
