Welcome to an alumni event in Oslo on May 14, where we will explore two of the most transformative technologies of our time – artificial intelligence and quantum technology. We are gathering alumni from Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg, along with representatives from industry, academia, and society, for an afternoon filled with discussions, networking, and new insights.

To give us a glimpse into the exciting future of quantum technology, Monica Ringvik, CEO of Chalmers Next Labs, will share insights into their pioneering work in creating a testbed for quantum technology. This initiative is one of the key steps in shaping the technological landscape of the future.

During the event, we will hear from several distinguished experts:

Monica Ringvik, CEO, Chalmers Next Labs

Professor Miroslaw Staron, University of Gothenburg

Trond Runar Hagen, Executive Vice President, Head of SINTEF Digital

The discussion will be moderated by Christine Wergeland, CEO of Oslo Science City, and Mikael Eriksson, Sweden’s Ambassador to Norway, will open the event.

The evening will feature light refreshments – and will be an excellent opportunity to meet fellow alumni, exchange experiences, and forge new connections across national and disciplinary boundaries.
