The Gothenburg Physics Centre is pleased to announce a symposium held in the honour of the Gothenburg Lise Meitner Award laureate of 2023, Nicola Spaldin, professor at ETH Zürich. Students are welcome to attend.

Theme of the symposium

The main theme of the symposium will be Astroparticle Physics meets Solid State Physics. It will consist of a small number of colloquium-length talks with lots of time for discussion. The participation of students is encouraged. No registration needed.

Gothenburg Lise Meitner Award

The Gothenburg Lise Meitner Award is awarded by the Gothenburg Physics Centre to a scientist who has made a breakthrough discovery in physics.
