Resource efficient blue food production from small underutilized pelagic fish species (RE-BLUE)

The RE-BLUE project explores new scalable food value chains from the vast amounts of our herring and sprat catches which today end up as feed rather than food -both whole small-sized fish and rest raw materials from fillet production. RE-BLUE aims to design, align and combine process-steps to unlock the enormous potential of these raw material streams for a new generation of seafood products.
