Our vision is to be a key player that provides science for the development of a sustainable transport sector with focus on road and maritime transport. We contribute by developing new knowledge, technology and decision support.
Our strength lies in combining modelling and experimental work within maritime environmental science.
Our research results, such as assessments of environmental pressures and impacts, as well as our socio-techno-economic analysis tools, are used to support the development of new measures and policy and legislative changes. Collaboration with industry and public authorities is central, as is our education within mechanics, mobility, maritime, energy and logistics programmes.
