<h3>The symposium Looking into the future with quantum and artificial intelligence</h3>
The symposium on Quantum Science and Artificial Intelligence brought together the brightest minds in science. The event 24-25 November were held in RunAn and were open to high school students and researchers. During the days the renowned researcher and author Emma Frans were the moderator. On the 26th November, the symposium continued for researchers.&nbsp;

<h3>The symposium Light on Life 2024</h3>
The symposium brought together the brightest minds in science, including Nobel laureates. The event were moderated by the renowned researcher, Emma Frans. Light on Life were open to researchers, university students and high school students and teachers. The event were co-organized by the Nano Area of Advance, Materials Science and Health at Chalmers, in collaboration with Molecular Frontiers. &nbsp;

This year, Nano Area of ​​Advance organized a Nano afternoon instead of an initiative seminar. It was an opportunity to listen to an inspiring seminar by Professor Vahid Sandoghdar (director and scientific member of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light). It were also held a Small talk [about Nanoscience] seminar, this time with Jonatan Holmér, PhD student in Nano- and biophysics. There was also an information meeting, chance to mingle with other people from the Nano area in a poster session and dinner.

In addition to researchers and university students, about 200 high school students attended the seminar.
Quantum materials have unusual thermal, magnetic, and electrical properties. The ability to understand and engineer these materials and control their properties could virtually revolutionize every aspect of society and economy. It will enable new sustainable quantum technologies ranging from quantum information processing, quantum sensors to novel approaches for resolving healthcare needs.​​

The Graphene Centre at Chalmers (GCC) organized the Initiative Seminar 2018 of the Excellence Initiative Nano. The focus lied on atomically thin 2D materials (beyond graphene) and included in particular monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides and related van der Waals heterostructures. The world needs to change the primary energy production from fossil fuels to renewable sources. Chalmers University of Technology and Molecular Frontiers Foundation held a unique conference on sustainable energy with the aim to gather leading scientists, policy makers and the interested public in discussions about future energy possibilities. Quantum Technology aims at exploiting quantum physics for immensely powerful computations and simulations, to achieve ultra sensitive sensing and enhance privacy through physically secure communication. The initiative seminar is delving into the nanoscopic world of human health. With a focus on degenerative and infectious disease, speakers introduced and interrogated multiple aspects of these societally important fields.
David Bolinsky, co-founder of XVIVO, producer of the acclaimed “The Inner Life of the Cell”, were a keynote speaker at the event. His unique approach, bringing sub-cellular mechanics to life, utilizing state-of-the-art 3D animation, allows visualization of bio-nano research from a broad spectrum of sources.
