It is with great sadness that we have learned that our friend and colleague Sten Ljungström passed away on May 14.

Welcome to the Competence Centre for Catalysis, KCK, which is a national interdisciplinary research center at Chalmers. The research is focused on catalysis; for synthesis and production of renewable energy carriers, for reduction of greenhouse gases and emissions, for fuel cells and electrofuels, and for energy-efficient chemical processes. Areas that are crucial for the transition to a sustainable society.
